Trader Dick's innovative menu and tropical decor has been a favorite among John Ascuaga's Nugget's guests since 1958.

Polynesian and American cuisine and unparalleled island decor have always been the staples of Trader Dick's menu and atmosphere. The focal point of the Trader Dick's bar and restaurant is a 6,000 gallon fish tank that is home to over 100 exotic fish.

The dining area of Trader Dick's continues the island decor with countless tropical plants and Polynesian inspired decorations throughout.

Start your exotic dinning experience at John Ascuaga's Nugget with one of our delightful tropical inspired cocktails. Choose from the traditional Navy Grog, Mai Tai or the famous Scorpion. This flavor bursting combination of premium rums and juices is served in the ancient Polynesian tradition of the communal drinking bowl.

With drinks enjoy one or several appetizers such as rumaki, fried shrimp, egg rolls and barbecued spareribs.

For your main course indulge in mandarin duck, kung-pao chicken or one of the many fresh seafood and fish dishes. Fresh seafood is flown in daily for flavorful dishes such as salmon or coconut dipped prawns.

Top your meal off with your choice of many exotic desserts including cakes and pies. Combine dessert with our flaming Polynesian coffee for the perfect ending to a wonderful evening.

Trader Dick's is open for dinner Thursday through Monday and reservations are available.
