Founded by gaming magnate William F. Harrah in 1937, Harrah’s Reno is the birthplace for the country’s premier name in casino entertainment. Located in downtown Reno, Harrah’s Reno has 928 deluxe guest rooms and suites, a variety of hotel amenities, 60,000 square feet of casino space, a 300-seat showroom and seven great restaurants. Harrah’s Reno offers 22,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the Robert A. Ring Convention Center and the prestigious Prospectors’ Club. The sales and catering staffs are experienced professionals who can help you plan any event while accommodating banquets of 900 people, cocktail receptions for 1,200 guests and as many as 16 breakout rooms.

Harrah’s Reno remains synonymous with entertainment - from special stars to exciting production shows and adult revues. The summer concert series "Live On The Plaza" showcases various entertainment throughout the summer with free concerts, car shows and special events.

The 300-seat Sammy’s Showroom is one of the few celebrity showrooms in Reno and is famous for variety, just like the singer, dancer, comedian and actor for which it is named. Sammy Davis Jr. made his fi rst appearance on Oct. 26, 1967. The room was dedicated to Sammy in 1991.
